Margaret Rebecca Fye's Obituary:
(Taken from The Daily Tribune; Monday, December 4, 1899)

Rebecca, relict of Isaac Harshberger, died at the home of her son - Samuel Harshberger - in Richland Township, this county, near the village of Geistown, at 8 o'clock Saturday night. She had been suffering with dropsy for about a year, and ten days ago she was seized with a stroke of paralysis, which caused her death. She had been unconscious from the time she received the stroke until she died.

Mrs. Harshberger was born in Richland Township eighty-one years ago, her maiden name being Rebecca Fye. She was married in that township many years since, her husband dying near Geistown two years ago. Her son Jacob died while serving an enlistment with the Union forces in the Civil War, and another son - Daniel - committed suicide. She is survived by two sons - Samuel, mentioned above, and David W., of near Geistown.

Rev. Philson, of the United Evangelical Church, of which the deceased was a member, conducted the funeral services at 10 o'clock this morning, after which interment was made in the Weaver Mennonite Church Cemetary.
